Product & Storage

Yours Sincerely Bakery's cakes are freshly made from scratch, without any preservatives. We recommend enjoying them on the day of pickup/delivery or storing them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days!

For Buttercream Cakes, please refrigerate whenever possible. If refrigeration is not available, depending on the room temperature, it should last in air-conditioned room for about 1 hour. Buttercream cakes taste best when thawed for 30 minutes after being taken out of the refrigerator. Cakes must be kept in a cool environment, away from direct sunlight (either in the fridge or an air-conditioned room).

For Fondant Cakes, store them in an air-conditioned environment for 3-4 hours. Always remember that cakes are best enjoyed at normal room temperature. Please allow them to come to room temperature before serving or eating.

We are not halal certified.

Unfortunately, it does seem like some of our ingredients do come from factories that also contain or prepares nuts, hence there might be a chance of cross contamination. Therefore, we do not recommend the having our bakes if an allergic reaction may be caused, for the consumer's safety. We hope that this helps and deeply apologise for any trouble caused.

At Yours Sincerely Bakery, our cakes are crafted with reduced sweetness. For a lighter, more refreshing option with minimal added refined sugar, we suggest trying our Lychee Rose, Strawberry Shortcake, or Mango Shortcakes!

For all Customised/Standard Cakes: Yours Sincerely Bakery has specially crafted a Care Package for our valued customers to enhance their cake experience.  Each package includes 8 gold candles, 1 disposable knife, 10 mini plates, 10 mini forks, 1 box of matches, and 1 gold party paper crown.*Click here to view! Pinata Cake: Includes 1 Wooden Hammer with 1 Care Package. Bento Cake: A One-time use Birthday Knife and one Long Gold Candle will be provided. Cupcakes: One Long Gold Candle will be provided.

Cutting a cake doesn’t have to be intimidating or messy. We actually did a video on how to cut taller cakes/double-tiered cakes! Here you go! *Link* If you have fondant items or decor on your cake, you can remove it from the cake before cutting, that’ll make your job a lot easier! All recommended pax serving are approximations only. The estimated serving size is 2-3” length by 1” width by 3.5-4” height.

Delivery & Self-Collection

Upon checkout, you can choose from the following options: 1. Specific Delivery: $30 (Select a 1-hour range anytime between 9am and 9pm) *Note: For Options 2 and 3 below, please ensure that you have space in the fridge to store the cake. 2. Regular Delivery: $20 (Select a 4-hour range anytime between 9am and 9pm) 3. Flexi Delivery: $9.90 (Your order will be delivered anytime between 9am and 9pm) Surcharge for Jurong Island, Sentosa & Jewel Changi: -For Specific Delivery, a fixed delivery fee of $45 will be applied -For Regular delivery or Flexi delivery, a fixed delivery fee of $30 will be automatically applied.

In the event of a failed delivery, we will contact the recipient to explore alternative arrangements, such as leaving the cake with a guard or neighbour. (Please note that we will not be liable for any damages caused after the driver has left.) If there is still no one available to receive the cake, the recipient will have the option of arranging for re-delivery for an additional fee of $30.00 or self-collection within 2 days after the original delivery time. After this period, the cake will be disposed of.  *Please note that refunds and exchanges are not available in such situations.

If no one is available to collect the order at the scheduled time, we will contact the phone number provided in the order. If there is still no one available to receive the cake, the recipient will have the option of either arranging for delivery or self-collection within 2 days after the original delivery time. After 2 days, the cake will be disposed of.  *Please note that refunds and exchanges are not available in such situations.

We strongly advise you to inspect the cake's condition upon delivery. If you notice any damage to the cake upon receipt, please feel free to reach out to our Yours Sincerely Bakery's Customer Service Team +65 88518517, and we will arrange alternative solutions for you with our best abilities.

Yes, you can. However, please note that we will not be liable for any damages caused by the drivers. We can provide a video or photo of the cake upon request before handing it over to them.

If you opt for Self-Collection and notice any damage to the cake upon receipt, please inform our team immediately so they can address the issue promptly. However, it's important to note that we will not be liable for any damages caused by customers after they leave the shop.  If any damage is caused by the customer, you can bring the cake back to us, and we will do our best to fix it. However, additional costs may apply depending on the severity of the damage. Please be aware that no refunds will be issued in such cases.

Order & Cancellation

In the unlikely event of cancellation, we'll do our best to accommodate your situation. However, our cancellation policy is as follows: - If we have not started any preparation on your order (1 week or more to the delivery date), we'll refund 100% store credits with no expiry, or provide an 80% cash refund (the 20% is charged on our merchant's end). - If we have started some preparation (3 days to 1 week to the delivery date), we'll refund 70% store credits with no expiry. - If we are already in progress on your cake (3 days or less to the delivery date), our policy states a 100% cancellation charge with no refund. However, we'll do our best to assist you given the circumstances, as we understand it may be due to unforeseen events. For Designer Cake orders, people usually order 2 weeks to a month in advance. We recommend giving us at the very least 1 week’s time, but if you have less than that, let us know and we’ll see how we can help! Standard cake orders usually require a much shorter turn-around time (eg, 2 days). We can even do same-day deliveries!

Cake Care

Darker colors on the cake can be intense and may cause staining on hands and teeth. Although these stains are usually removable within a few washes, they may also result in the buttercream tasting slightly bitter. Additionally, while we use the highest quality food coloring imported from the U.S.A. and ensure it is 100% food safe, some babies under 1 year old may still react to it, resulting in mild rashes. Instead, we recommend opting for pastel or lighter colors. We carefully mix just enough into our cakes to achieve a pale and soft appearance while maintaining their colorful personality.

Structure is crucial in Custom/ Tiered cakes, particularly as they bear more weight and need support to prevent collapsing. Please remember to remove these structural items from the cake before consumption. While they are food-safe, they are not edible.  Also, please avoid shoving or smashing your face into the cake, as this may cause serious injuries!

For cakes: Always pick up and carry the box from the bottom only, never from the top or sides. Handle it with care and avoid swinging it around. Keep the cake level at all times to prevent any damage. For desserts: Similarly, avoid swinging them around and try to keep them as level as possible during handling to maintain their presentation.
